Details:
My daytime astronomy class used the Coronado 60 and the new Orion iPhone adapter to take photos of the Sun at the start of class, around 9:45, and then again at the end. Several students have submissions, with different camera phones. This shot by Derek Poston is with an iPhone5. In the second photo, Willie Puryear is happy with his prominence, in the third Derek is shooting the flare, and in the last one, Derek is at the scope, while Jillian Bradley and Kipp Jennings compare their shots of the flare.
