Auroras
Taken by Jon Dickson on July 28, 2014 @ Waking up in the middle of the night and glancing out my window, I had a conversation with myself. It went something like this: Heart: What's that? Brain: Just a wisp of cloud Heart: It's moving fast then... and not with the wind. Brain: Lie flat and still! Obviously, I didn't. I jumped in my car and drove down to Winston Churchill Park. This was one of the first shots of the morning, taken around 2:30am. Already the pre-dawn glow was encroaching but I think this one turned out okay. Nikon D7100, Tokina 11-16 F2.8, 25S exposure, 1600ISO. Lac La Biche, Alberta, Canada
