Looking the ISS crossing the sky at night is always exciting. As bright as Venus it silently revolves around us orbit after orbit. The show must be nice from up there too and, after all, it is much better than an airliner. At least you dance just for five minutes at the start - so we need to get into orbit - and maybe something more to return.
This night, animated by this strange desire that came to photograph artificial satellites and while I shoot across the sky to the east, it was not without surprise that I noticed there was another track below the ISS albeit much less bright.
I gave a look to NASA web site and I discovered that the second track is likely that of the Progress 55 cargo, the spacecraft that provided the station with a few tons of supplies and only a few hours ago undocked from it reaching a safe distance to take the his return to earth.
