Details:
International Sun-Day had less than ideal sky transparency over Goldendale, Washington -- and for the most part telescopic observation was not all that it could be. However, this proved fortuitous in providing for some wonderful sun halos! Captured in the images is the very colorful spectrum of a circumhorizon halo, a 22 degree halo centered on the sun, and a parhelic circle halo seen straight overhead. Thanks for looking.
