I agree. If the event takes more than a few seconds, it is most likely some aircraft. With a 200mm on that camera you should be able to get definitive ID on the type of aircraft with stable enough photos. I would guess the reddish object, if obtained in the US, is a Southwest Airlines aircraft.
This is so obviously a fake. If not, then it is indeed an historic photograph that all of us in the meteor detection community would be excited about. Also, if a meteor of this size had indeed been detected, it would be a significant event.
Definitely a fake. If you look at the third picture you can see the pixels of the suppose meteor doesnt have the same consistency as the rest of the back ground sky. It almost looks like a mounted image. Anybody can see this by inverting this third picture on Photoshop.
