Details:
The surface of the Sun was much quieter today, but there was this beautiful prominence that was erupting on the eastern limb that looked quite spectacular. It was very large and delicate in shape and as I watched it throughout the day its shape changed quite dramatically…which was very interesting to watch. I just love this new solar telescope, the view of the Sun is just Amazing! My picture is a composite of one over exposed image and one at normal exposure; I have placed one on top of the other to try and give as close to the view in the eyepiece. I used a Canon 7D camera with a camera adapter and 2x Barlow lens and imaged through a Lunt 80mm solar telescope. It’s my first attempt in doing a composite in PS so please excuse if it’s a bit rough, I’m just learning ☺
