Details:
From Blue to Red. You may have noticed many times that when the disk of the Moon falls toward the horizon, stained with the red. It is caused by the passage of moonlight through the earth atmosphere in which the most diffuse blue rays (short-wave), while red rays (longwave) pass without appreciable loss. This sequence of images of the setting waxing crescent was taken by Canon 5D Mark III + Canon EF 75-300 mm.
