Details:
Meteor and trail - finished going through 500 images looking for meteors from the Camelopardalids Meteor Shower - May 24, 2014. I was rewarded with one short bright meteor with a persistent train very close to the North Star (Polaris lower left of center). This animated GIF was made with 3 sequential 25 second exposures taken with a Nikon D300s at ISO 800, 35mm FL, f1.8
