Details:
This was the pass of the Space Station on May 31 at 2:15 am local MDT here in southern Alberta. This image is a stack of 13 40-second exposures capturing the complete passage of the ISS from west to east. A glow of perpetual twilight, now prominent at my latitude of 50° north lights the northern sky, as well as a dim magenta aurora. I shot the image with an 8mm fish-eye lens and full-frame Canon 6D camera. This coming week we get to see the ISS come over 2 to 3 times a night, and always overhead for the middle-of-the-night passes for us in western Canada.
