Details:
Well, after a few days of a pretty bland solar surface, there are some signs of interest. There is a line of 4 filaments in the east and a fifth one with a new active area just coming around the eastern limb.

Solarmax 60II f/6.6, Canon XTi ISO 800, surface 1/800 sec. prominences 1/250 sec. East and West are reversed.

The surface and prominence shots are 5 layer stacks. Treated with Lynkeos' Lucy-Richardson algorithm and Photoshop for stacking, montage and colour.
