Details:
Date: 14th May 2014 Time: 2217 GMT Transparency: 4/10 Seeing: 5/10 Equipment: Celestron 8” F10 Edge HD, Powermate X2.5 Camera: DFK21au04 - 3600 frames stacked. Processed with Autosistakkert2, Registax 6 Very poor conditions and the small visual size of Mars made this observations difficult. Despite this I was able to image the Valles Marineris, the Tharsis volcanoes and Olympus Mons rising above a layer of white cloud.
