Brent,
I know I ask before about you camera mod but Im not sure I understood it completely.

Another question, is your camera hooked to a computer for taking images?

I have the T4i but not sure if it can be modified to be able to use the video zoom mode to acquire my images.

I sent my camera to :http://www.hapg.org/camera%20mods.htm

He just removed the factory IR filter in the camera.Pretty sure the T4i can be done, its on his list, Its about $200, but well worth it for astrophotagraphy.Just read the site above, it explains all about it.The camera will loose some normal fuctions.

No computer hook-up,but it can. I just use the live-viewer on the camera its self, My T3I zooms in 30fps video to x10,but no zooming in 60fps.Anything over x3 gets iffy though onless the seeing perfect.

Forget, to get the movies from the camera to the computer, i just use the usb cord, Then i have to use AVS4U,a video converter,It converts the EOS quicktime movies to origianl uncompressed AVIs so registack can read them.
