So this is what happens when the etalon of a Coronado scope is detuned. The spots are very clear but there is very little surface detail. I did not do this intentionally.

Solarmax 60II f/6.6, Canon XTi ISO 800, surface 1/800 sec. prominences 1/250 sec. East and West are reversed.

The surface and prominence shots are 5 layer stacks. Treated with Lynkeos' Lucy-Richardson algorithm and Photoshop for stacking, montage and colour.
