I photographed Mars on the 14th of April for almost 2 hours during the planets closest approach to Earth. The turbulence was very strong but the pictures turned out quite ok so I assembled 20 of them into a time-lapse. Mars will slowly recede and sadly enough for us at high latitudes in the northern hemisphere, Mars will not come back in a favorable position until the autumn of 2020 :-( Shot between 21h08m UT and 23h00m using a Celestron 8 EdgeHD with a 4x Powermate and a DBK41AF02 camera. /*Peter R
