Iss transit moon
Taken by Sheila Wiwchar on April 9, 2014 @ When a friend mentioned that it was predicted that the ISS would transit the moon last night at a close location, it was exciting to head out and try to observe and capture the event! We had clear skies and the path was perfect from our viewing point in Teulon Manitoba. The most exciting thing about such an event was watching it unfold, from the moment someone saw at 9:15pm and yelled"there it is" to it making its way straight through the moon. It was barely visible while it crossed the face of the moon, due to the ISS itself being illuminated, but seeing the appearance ,disappearance and reappearance was quite something.
