While waiting for the stars, why not watching the clouds? Appreciating and studying them can also become amazingly fun. These photos show some prominent cumulus formations on the northwestern horizon, golden colored by the setting sun. A Sony DSC-HX300 camera was used for the shots, taken around 20:50 UTC.
