Details:
I finally, after waiting for nearly 6 months, got to my favorite dark sky. I at first was downcast since there was not a single scheduled clear night in the days I'm up here, but luckily last night proved the forecast wrong. It was hard for me to vacation up here since I'm 14 and have to wait for my family's schedule.
I shot all night last night, and woke at 4:30am to shoot the milky way's core rising over the treetops. That film will be in my next time lapse composite, as well as the other time lapses shot. Here are some stills I took from that night and I am VERY happy and pleased with the results. In one of the frames, I was surprised by a passing of the ISS. Enjoy!
Details: Canon 6D, Samyang f/1.4 24mm lens, f/1.4, 1600 ISO, 20 second exposures.
