Details:
I'm reaching the end of my first week in Finnish Lapland (out of 3) and the weather has been completely against aurora hunting. Tonight though, after a very sunny day, the sky remained clear from any clouds. The temperature dropped to -20°C. And as if she knew that it was a perfect night to show up, the lady Aurora was there in her best shapes, colours, brightness and movements! I am not really sure what caused such activity tonight especially with the low activity forecast, but I see it again as a sign that once you reach such northern latitudes, anything is possible at any time! Stay tuned for more of these pictures.
