Details:
Good Morning, The clouds parted just in time to reveal a beautiful pairing of our Moon, only 10% illuminated, and the Planet Venus. I made this image using a Cannon 60Da camera with a Baader Vario Finder as a lens. A 1/2 second exposure at f4.1 using an ISO of 320 made the exposure using the camera on tripod method, here in Jadwin Missouri. The exposure was made at 05:57:01 CST. It was a beautiful sight on a very cold morning, but tomorrow morning the Moon changes partners and it will appear with its friend the Planet Mercury. I will be there to share that moment and hopefully capture another image! Best, Victor C. Rogus Jadwin, MO
