Details:
Last night, my friend called me that aurora is outside. Forecast on the internet rumored that the aurora is not, was not and will not be in progress.... So I went outside and I could not believe my eyes. Light pillars were all around Banff. I ran for my camera and tripod and I was hoping that light pillars still will be there. Outside there was a -28°C. Strong light cones in different colors shining directly into the night sky. Arriving train also pushing a huge vertical beam of light in the front. Couldn't see cars on the highway but saw the light beams moving above road. Banff was covered in kind of haze with flying tiny ice crystals in the air. The entire show lasted a little over two hours until midnight. The incredible light show!
