Another great night in Swedish Lapland! Tonight our guide Tobbe was with all of our guests so I had a rare opportunity to hop on a snowmobile and head deep into the mountains in search of the northern lights. As I drove further away from the lights of town I began to notice a large band of auroras running east to west - I knew that this was a very good sign that I would see a nice display later in the evening. The large band slowly developed into curtains, spirals, coronas and virtually every other classic form imaginable. After capturing nearly 100 GB of images I decided it was time to go home. A time lapse video of the entire event will be posted on our Facebook page and website soon. Shot with various Nikon bodies and lenses.
