Took my car and went to a place called Lavangsdalen just outside Tromsø. BANG and the sky just explodet in aurora. I could not decide where to shot, it was all over the sky. It went on fore about 2 ours.

Wonderful pictures. I will be in Alaska for Northern Lights viewing. I was wondering what lens did you use with your canon 6d?
Can you give tips how to setup my camera? I know it should be manual. What shutter speed did you use? Thanks

Stunning photos. Will be in Tromso next week hoping to see the aurora, and am keeping my fingers crossed for clear weather.
