Details:
Sunspot 1967 was the former monster Sunspot 1944. I imaged 1967 on Feb 1,2014,26 days after imaging 1944 on Jan 6, 2014. It is interesting to note that for both cases a sunspot group to their direct North is observed. I used my 40mm PST, a 1.5X Barlow and a DMK 41 camera.

Thanks!
They are not just to the North but also in the upper hemisphere. So, the gravitational force acting on them is in opposite direction. These two group of sunspots allowing us to calculate the actions of magnetic force and gravitional force on the sunspots. If you can I would like to see the third round of them, if they survived.
