Here's my illustration of the ongoing Mars One project. As you probably know, Mars One has the goal to establish the first human settlement on Mars. Around 200,000 showed interest in going to Mars. My illustration is of the first human martian who is homesick and yells back home to planet Earth. In this case he's yelling is picked up by an earthling. My thoughts on Mars One is that the new martians most likely will be feeling very home sick now and then, so this image tells that story. The two photos is two 360° panoramas each made up of 4 images. Both where shot on the same night and for once, as an astrophotographer, I needed a cloudy light polluted sky to better illustrate life on Mars.
