Details:
As previously brought about by Ernesto Guido, Nick Howes & Martino Nicolini, a new star has just shown itself in the galaxy Messier 99.
After reviewing Ernesto and his comrades' data, I decided to do a little work myself. . . . there does seem to be something new in M99 comparing to previous images, although I can't really be sure.
The first image is the irg image. It is scientifically accurate, unlike the second image, which is RGB. The irg shows the putative supernova fairly well. Photometry results will come soon.
