The unusual weather pattern in the U.S. has allowed for some rare clear winter skies in the Northwest. Took advantage of it to get pics of this recent supernova. Celestron C-11, prime focus with Nikon D7000 DSLR. Stack of 31, 10-second images, ISO 2500. Deep Sky Stacker to process light and dark frames, Photoshop for level adjustments.
