After viewing the Realtime Supernova Photo Gallery, I attempted to reprocess the M82 image I took on 20 Jan 14 to see if the super nova was visible. It was! Left image: Jan 20, 2014 9:17PM to 9:41PM MST: Stacked: 12x100s iso 3200 180mm Nikkor @ f/3.2. Right image taken on Dec 26, 2013, Stacked 78x60s, iso 3200, 180mm @ f/3.5 (slightly out of focus). However, super nova quite evident in this pre-discovery image on left (enlarged 2x).
