Details:
Venus was observed and imaged shortly after sunset. This was a quite challenging observation due to a solar elongation of only 5.7 deg (27 hours after inferior conjunction). The planet and its thin crescent was, however, clearly visible in 10x50 binoculars. After locating Venus I made a number of exposures using a Canon EOS 100D camera and a 400-mm FL lens. A couple of them are included here.
