Details:
Venus through Griffith Observatory's 12-inch Zeiss Refractor (1935). Venus was easy to see even through the 2-inch finder as soon as the sun went behind the planetarium dome, at 3:40 p.m., PST. Cirrus clouds interfered. The seeing was unsteady, but resulted in pretty colors from atmospheric dispersion. 2X barlow used, Canon D60a, image cropped. Taken 23:40 UT, January 10, 2014
