Details:
Conditions were very good for observing today. No wind and a clear sky. The occasional cry of a lonely cat failed to cancel my concentration. Pencil drawing Active Region 1944. 11:23 UT - 11:52 UT 200 mm relfector,Focal Length 1,200mm,200mm White Light Filter,14 mm Tele Vue Radian eyepiece = 85X. 7B and HB pencil on white paper. h alpha drawing Active Region 1944. PST 40 with 8mm TVP eyepiece = 50X 12:40UT - 13:30UT Soft pastel and conte on black paper. There were a huge amount of filaments visible all over the disc. One image of my sketch in colour one converted to black and white.
