Details:
Last Christmas I decided to spend in Oravská Lesná, Slovakia. And I don’t regret. On Dec. 27th, 2013, I tried to observe comet C/2013 R1 Lovejoy. But the sky was still wierdly bright and kind of green. So I changed lenses to find out and suddenly this: maybe the most intensive airglow I have ever photographed. So I took my tripod, made 12 images around (Canon 6D, Sigma 14 mm, f2.8, ISO 10000, 30s exposures) and one of zenith. This is the result… On one image you can see not only two colors of airglow, but also zodiacal bridge with Gegenschein in Gemini (in the middle of it is bright planet Jupiter), nebulae and beautiful constellation of winter sky, unfortunatelly light pollution too… and, of course, column of the sky – Milky way.
