This picture is the sum of about 29+2 frames taken on two consecutive nights with the exact same settings (Canon 1100D @ SW MC 102/1300 on motorized EQ3; 1/250 - 8s, ISO 100, color = 5200K / sunlight). First processed into an HDR, then reprocessed again and again emphasizing the color of the night side always keeping the color balance intact - ie: what's blue on this picture was blue on the Moon. Onion looking sky gradient removed because of aesthetical reasons. Keep in mind what Vangelis dedicated an album to: Albedo .39 :)
