Details:
At this morning a front has left our sky vivid blue with very good seeing so after checking the sunspots I directed my camera 10 degrees left to the Sun. I shaded the Sun with a road sign and I could very easily find Venus in the viewfinder. I set the camera to a series with 6 sec. intervals and took some pics which were later stacked together to a startrail image of the neighbouring planet. Venus is a very beautiful crescent and still easy to find and with a proper shading for the Sun easy to photograph if the sky conditions are OK. I could first see Venus today morning at 8:20 AM local time, less then an hour after sunrise, when it emerged from the remnants of the front clouds. With a SAFE mode shading the Sun it is a must see object to everyone!
