Taking advantage of having the day off today, I did a lot of Astro imaging. In the morning the Sun with the Super sun spot 1944 and at night the bright new year Moon.

A gorgeous series. Just curious as to any filter(s) you used; the shading is striking, as is the resolution of detail.

Thank you for the kind words. And no I didnt use any filters for this images. I use an Acro 102mn refractor f11 900mm scope and my Sentech color CCD camera.
