Details:
I was taking photo's with my Celestron C8 and Nikon D5200 of sunspot area 1944 with a Mylar Solarfilter. Then I moved my telescope 10 degrees to the left, removed the solarfilter, and Venus was shining bright in my eyepiece! DON'T DO THIS WHEN YOU ARE NOT EXPERIENCED IN ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY. Taking pictures of objects close to the sun might damage your eyes permanently! I took some pictures of Venus. How big this planet is and so close to earth at the moment. I was disappointed when some clouds came moving in, but they were iridescent clouds and Venus was shining brightly through it!
