Details:
The temperature outside read about -20C, and the sky was very clear and crisp. I decided to step outside and the large sunspot AR1944 was easily visible. Photos were taken at about 1:30pm EST with a Nikon D90 & 300mm f/4.5-5.6 lens and a neutral density filter.
