Details:
The weather had been a bit cloudy the past few nights, but then it cleared up on Christmas Eve. Steady auroras throughout the night, but then just before 2am, the auroras started to dance! Photo taken with a Canon 5D Mark II, Tokina 16mm F2.8, ISO 4000, & 2.5 second exposure. This shot is facing east.
