Details:
Another superb sunset with Venus dominating the dawn skies. This time a small halo was visible around the planet due to cirrus clouds. At high powers through an Refractor, the view was superb: the slender was superb both at 30x and at 200x despite the low seeing conditions. Equipment: Canon 550D with 18-55mm lens at 55mm, ISO 400 and a single exposure of 15 seconds for wide-scene, and ASI120MM camera with IR-pass filter mounted on a APO 4.5" F/7 Refractor at F/18 using a TeleVue 2.5x barlow.
