Details:
Geminids over Teide Observatory (IAC) in Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. The dome in foreground houses the OGS (Optical Ground Station), a 1 m telescope aperture of ESA (European Spatial Agency) dedicated to Space Debris survey of the Geostationary Orbit and Transfer Orbits also works in basic astronomy research. On the right one can see Teide volcano, the highest mountain in Spain (3,718 m) with Orion constellation. Following the direction of the Milky Way (among meteors) near horizon appears the spectacular Eta Carinae nebula and its left some stars of Southern Crux.
