Two images of Comet C/2013 R1 Lovejoy taken on consecutive days 2013/12/09 UT 12:03 showing prominent ion tail (30s exp) and on 2013/12/10 UT 12:04 with poorer seeing and less prominent ion tail (60s exp). Celestron C8 f6.3, Canon T4i, iso 6400, 30s exp, ~1d field with TheSkyXPro field chart for the 12/09 image.
