Details:
I was ready for bed when spaceweather phone called. I was not expecting aurora that night and watched the Kp awhile before deciding to go out.
I stayed on my property instead of my usual Lake Superior perch and was happy to be able to see color through and above the trees.
This is a stack of 160 exposures taken with a Nikon D7000 and a Tokina 11-16mm lens.
