Details:
Yesterday's evening I was trying to shoot some nice HDRs of the Sun at evening when all of a sudden an unidentified object made a rapid transit over the Sun surface. I cannot see any kind of wings in any of the 9 pictures in which the unidentified object appears. Setup Details: My telescope is a Meade LX-90 8" with a Solar Filter Seymour 8", my camera is a Canon 60D mounted by using a t-ring and a focal reducer f/6.3. ISO during the shoot was at 100 and shutter speed varies between a 1/15, 1/60, 1/4 because of the ±2EV variation of the AEB sequence. I'm proving you the JPGs of the whole sequence via dropbox, but only the 9 central pictures shows the unidentified flying object. Timespan between the first one and the last one of the sequence is 6 seconds. I'm sending you the pictures to webmaster@speceweather.com because they are in full resolution. I'm also sending you via DropBox the RAW files in case you want to analyze the original files. Dr Tony Phillips please help me I really would like to know what was that? Much thanks! Jose M Cardozo
