Details:
Nova Cen 2013 is now naked-eye visible, even from heavily light polluted cities. I was lucky enough to have clear skies after a line of thunderstorms passed through earlier in the night, and realised that I could see the nova without even trying. The Nova is slightly to the left of beta centauri. I've never seen anything like this, where one night there is nothing, then another there's a new star! To top off the night, a faint geminid meteor passed through the frame to the left.
