Details:
The ghost of Comet Ison has faded to nearly nothing but you are still in luck if you need your comet fix. Comet 2013 R1 (Lovejoy) has moved into the evening sky. It can be seen to the left of the handle of the big dipper in the NW sky about one hour after sunset. It will be climbing higher in the evening sky each night. It is easy to find in binoculars and likely visible to the unaided eye if you have a dark enough sky on the horizon. You can still find it in the NE sky in the early morning as well if you want some better dark viewing conditions. Don't miss out on the opportunity to see or photograph what I think is the best comet of the year hands down.
