Details:
In a frosty and almost clear sky I found comet ISON almost immediately with my binoculars .It was my first observation of ISON. With unaided eyes however I couldn't see the object, probably dawn was underway a bit too far. Looking at the weather forecast for the coming days, it would probably be the only possibility to see the comet before it plunged into the much lighter part of the sky near the sun. I took some pictures between 0550 and 0610 UTC. The greenish object was clearly visible in the images, a bit elongated shape too. Camera/image details: Canon EOS 20D, lens 85 mm, ISO 800, exposure time 4 sec, f=5.6.
