This morning, from around 4:30 AM to 5:08 AM PST, I was able to image comet Lovejoy C/2013 R1 using my TMB-92SS refractor and a Canon 7D camera at prime focus. This image is a stack of 36 1 minute exposures at ISO 800 using Deep Sky Stacker.At the same time, I was able to take a wide field snapshot of the comet beside the big dipper using a Canon 50D camera and a Canon EF-S 17-55 mm lens at 17 mm (16 sec exposure, ISO 1600, f/4).
