The Minotaur 1 Rocket launched from Wallops Island, Va. this evening - lighting up the southeastern sky amidst high level clouds. Its bright orange-red exhaust brightened and dimmed through staging as it climbed high into the moonlit sky. Spectacular launch from 200 miles away!!! Canon 60Da, Sigma 17-50mm lens @28mm. ISO 100, f/2.8, 30 second exposures.
