Details:
These are two images I've taken of NGC 6946 over my time of astrophotography. The first image is taken with the Yerkes 41-inch (~1.1m) telescope in Williams Bay, Wisconsin. Filters: iprime, gprime, rprime, dark frame, flat frame. The image came out very nice and sharp. The second image was taken with the Stone Edge 20-inch telescope in Sonoma, California. There was a lot of dust on the lens, but the picture looks fitting for the galaxy's name- the Fireworks Galaxy! Filters: Red, Green, Blue, dark frame.
