Details:
Of the 4 currently visible Northern hemisphere comets, comet C/2013 R1 Lovejoy is now the brightest making it a nice imaging opportunity even under city skies. I imaged comet Lovejoy using my Canon 7D DSLR and a Takahashi TSA 102 with a 0.6 focal reducer at prime focus at my place in Quezon City, Philippines. At the right of the comet's lovely tail is the galaxy NGC 3432.
