Details:
Heavy cirrus haze was pushing in from the southwest but I was able to see ISON easily with 20x80 binocs just after it cleared my tree line. I could not see much tail but the coma had strong condensation to the center and I could hold it with direct vision. I got a couple of quick snaps with a Canon XSi, ISO 800 and a 300mm zoom lens as well.
